Besides quality, speed and affordability, one thing that sets Jocelyn apart from other face painters in the Phoenix area is that for many events, she uses her creative skills to craft brand new face-painting designs uniquely themed for each event such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentine’s Day, Chocolate Festivals, Renaissance Fairs, Halloween, themed birthday parties, etc. Jocelyn’s formal training began at a highly gifted art magnet high-school in Orlando, FL, where she spent most of her childhood. At the young age of seventeen, she was recruited by Enjoy Your Face, a prestigious international face painting company with over one-hundred employees. For the next twelve years, Jocelyn worked for Enjoy Your Face as a full-time face painter, instructor, lead designer and assistant manager for operations around the globe. Some of the locations she’s worked at include Disney World Parks, Universal Studios Orlando and Hollywood, Islands of Adventure, Sea World and she spent over a year in Osaka training and hiring artists for theme parks in Japan. Jocelyn has also face & body painted at celebrity parties, including Oscar Award parties, Playboy, and has been flown out for special events in the Bahamas. She earned an IMDB movie credit for her make-up work in “Sea Legs.” In 2007, Jocelyn was the featured artist for Brushstrokes Magazine. She was a contributing artist and model for two publications of “Creative Face Painting” how-to books, and was a face painting instructor at the International Face Painting Convention in Orlando, FL. Jocelyn has been featured in several on-line magazine publications, ABC News Phoenix, and her designs are used throughout the world. Besides the high demand for her face painting services, Jocelyn is often asked to design elaborate tattoos, murals, illustrations and commissioned canvas paintings. Since moving to Chandler, AZ in 2010, Jocelyn’s business has been very active in local community events. She had one of the busiest tents of any type at the Chandler Ostrich Festival in 2011 and 2012. At the Rainforest Café in Tempe, she face-painted weekly and painted murals for their restaurant. Based on her customized designs, Jocelyn was recently selected to face paint at the prestigious Tempe Arts Festival and at a prime spot at all the Glendale Festivals. In December, 2011, Jocelyn was interviewed on ABC 15 news by Amber Sullens for her holiday face paintings. Jocelyn’s body painting was featured on the front cover of the Phoenix New Times magazine in February 2012.
